REPORT Citizenship Delays NOW

The Citizenship Delay project focuses on helping members of our local community speed up the process of becoming naturalized American citizens. It has come to the attention of CAIR-Houston that many Muslims with “Muslim names" are facing large delays between their interviews and their swearing-in ceremonies for citizenship. The US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) are required to schedule an oath ceremony within 120 days after the interview.

After sending your information to our office, we will compile it and call you for interviews in regards to how our office can help you speed up your citizenship or a class-action lawsuit. The lawsuit will be filed locally by an attorney against the government on your behalf. CAIR chapters in other states have enjoyed excellent results by filing class action lawsuits for the community.

ACTION REQUESTED:

  1. Goto http://www.cairhouston.org/delay.htm.
  2. Fill out the form if you have been granted an interview and have not been sworn in within 120 days.
  3. Ask all your friends and family to do the same.

REMEMBER: We have the ability to get your citizenship's and/or a faster response. By reporting it to CAIR-Houston you will NOT be jeopardizing your paperwork or your status. In order for us to help you, you MUST Report it now!
