Harris County Sheriff Apologizes for anti-Muslim and other derogatory emails.
CAIR-Houston
welcomed an apology from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department
for e-mails circulated in the department that included derogatory
statements and bigoted jokes about Muslims, Latinos and other ethnic
groups in Houston.

Over 1,000 signed! We need 1,000 more! End the humanitarian crisis in Gaza!
CAIR-Houston volunteers collected over
1,000 letters addressed to their Congressional Representatives in the
past two weeks. These letters were written by the Houston community in
reference to the humanitarian disaster in Gaza. The letter campaign was
done in coordination with the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH).
